Remember the bright pink and blue ice cream shop called Debra T's next to the Overlook Drive-in Poughkeepsie that closed a few years ago? Well, guess what? It's open again with a new name and new owners who are from the community!

This new ice cream shop is now called "Ally's Ice Cream & Grill Cafe" and it reopened in April of 2022. The new owners Jeffrey & Zaina Kakish have been a part of the Poughkeepsie community for more than 40 years. The Kakish's are excited to own and operate their family business which is named after their daughter Aliya.

The ice cream & grill cafe was repainted with vibrant purples and the outdoor seating is still there for you to relax and enjoy your summertime treats on a sunny day. The new owners also have 25 ice cream flavors and a grill that serves gyros and Philly cheese steaks. The link for more information on hours of operation.
